Hooooome...

Well, I'm home for reading week. It has been quite splendid so far. I got to sleep in my lovely foamy bed. It was heaven, let me tell youuu. And there has been lots of hang out time with the fam. which is quite nice. Buuut to start it all off I had a trip home with the infamous Morgan Jane Shaw...
'Twas quite the trip. Not much talking happened. But I guess when you're friends it shouldn't matter so much if you are talking but rather that you get to be spending time with each other.
On Saturday I went shopping with the mama. Actually soooo much fun. Man, I do like that woman, such a great time with her.
Then there is the hang out time with the lil sis...
Hot pic, eh? She's such a beauty! What a girl. Seriously, any boy that tries to get near her I will interrogate to no end. They are not getting off easy, no way sirre bob. Anywho, we have had a great time just chilling and getting closer. It is so nice to have a close lil friend like that that you know will always be around.Oh and on Saturday night I got to go bowling...

I'll be honest...I don't really like bowling, at all. So we played three games. The first one and a half were good. But nearing the end of the second it felt as though the night would never end. Buuut my beautiful friend Sarah Brouwer was there...

...let me say that made it aaall worth it. What a great friend. She has stuck by me through thick and thin. Um, and through me being a party poo-er at bowling, even though she says I wasn't. Oh and Sarah if you are reading this, you are the lie-face. Now it's time for chill and do nothing time for the rest of the week. It should be pretty nice. I haven't done that in say oh a day. Hmmm...I love these times of the year, where you get to do nothing and not feel bad about it.So I have decided that I want to try and win the hill run at school. I know it is next to impossible that I will, but hey who doesn't like a good challenge? This will mean good training time when I get back. I need to get back into shape. Hahaha. I have been to the gym like once this semester. Goodness gracious. Soo little ms. accountability you must hold me to it. Umm and this cartoon has given me a little inspiration...

Heey if I'm going to get into shape I need a little something to look forward too. Haha. Oh gosh. Well until next time: keep fit and have fun!

Toga Party

The only look delicious and good to eat....but when you have to eat them in a hurry let me tell you....

So tonight the freshman had a toga party and one of the "fun" activities was a hot dog eating contest. My lovely friends Morgan and Unce E volunteered me to do this exciting activity. The goal was to eat six hot dogs in buns and two plain ones as quickly as possible. Well sadly I only ate five, but I was pretty close behind the first guy. This is how I felt for sooo long after....

But I did get a prize...

six chocolate bars.

It was a lovely niight.

Valentine's Day...

Today was a lovely day. The usual classes and days events, plus Valentine's on top of it. I will admit to you all I am not a big fan of the day in general I would usually rather not think about it at all. But it was actually quite nice today. At lunch all of use Omega girls served the Omega boys, we even had a table decorated and all. Then tonight after chapel the boys on my team brought all of us girls on an adventure through the school grounds to the bluff. There they presented us with roses following this lovely speech "we thought we would bring you to the most beautiful place because there is no one more beautiful than you guys". It was all quite touching.

So hope you all had a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! I know I did.
